At 37 years old, Ian has been teaching guitar for more than 19 years and has inspired students of every age and ability level – from young beginners to seasoned pros. Many of his students have won admission to prestigious music programs at schools across the country. Ian also served for several years as the director of Camp Jam Pittsburgh, an intensive summer program for school-age musicians.

When Ian's not playing and teaching guitar, he loves hanging out with his Wife and Son and dogs, watching hockey, and playing video games.
